Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety for her role as the main character of Fox's House medical series. Following her upbringing by conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study the theater at Tisch. Her performance quickly made her a part of the New York club scene. The performances she gave were so good that even the local press took note. In the end, she utilized her education as well her fame to write and compose an original musical entitled Positive Me as well as to appear in it. In the following months, she got a job at MTV as host of Awake in the Wild Side. After the show was finished the actress went on to do film and television productions. She started with smaller roles, and then became established slowly as an actor.
