Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was just a teenager working in Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. Her acting career began at age four. She grew up in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. At the beginning of her career she worked as an extra on television shows such as Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. When she was 13 in 1995, she was cast in her first film Friday. In the role of Cisely, a troubled teenager on the set of Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her attention. She was nominated for two awards and her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good began to take on smaller film and television roles for the next couple of years and began transitioning into more mature roles during the beginning of 2000. The actress played Nina in Cousin Skeeter the Nickelodeon T.V. Between 1998 and 2001, she played Nina in the Nickelodeon TV show Cousin Skeeter. She also landed small roles in films House Party Down to the Last Minute and 3 Strikes. In 2003 she portrayed Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she starred in D.E.B.S an action-comedy movie that was nominated as Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including You Got Served The Cookout and Venom, One Missed call Waist Deep, and The Love Guru. While active in 2012, she appeared on T.V. In movies, she portrayed Mya In Think Like a Man with a cast of many stars and played Stevens in the role of Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer, originally from Texas, studied in Baylor University Waco Texas where she earned the bachelor of fine arts. The year she graduated, Killmer graduated with an award in performance art. She started her acting career in 2010 when she appeared in Simon Fuller's web series,"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in several local plays. She was a part of Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its pilot episode. The series on Hulu called If I Can dream revolves around the lives of a bunch of musicians who live on the streets of Hollywood California.
