Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. A beautiful and smart actor, she is an inspiration to numerous Asian actors who aspire to be successful in Hollywood. After several appearances on popular television series, she became famous after being cast on the Ally McBeal legal comedy where she played Ling Woo. The new fame she gained was translated into roles for the big screen, in Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. The actress then gave an outstanding performance in the role of Japanese criminal lord O'Ren Ishii in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. Also, she portrayed leading roles in box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters from animated films such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia and other small screen parts, did not achieve any kind of success. Southland - a critically acclaimed crime-drama - established Liu's status as a top actress. Liu chooses her roles with care to ensure she is not a victim of such a competitive field. Although she is adamant about her heritage but it doesn't mean she has to be when it comes to her career as an artist.
